It is threaded through the mechanics of a hospital bed and is replacing a very small easily broken cable. It appears to be more robust and has been in service for several months. So far, so good

After moving my room around, I just need some extra slack to work with. This cable is great because it is thick and rugged, and won't break. It's also gold plated and keeps the signal strong.

I first bought this cable in the 25ft. length so that I could sit anywhere in the living room and be able to watch TV without bothering my husband in the next room. It was a cinch to "set up," just plug it into the headphone port at the back of my Samsung TV, run it along at the edge of the floor where no one would trip on it, and plug in my headphones at the other end. The cable is reassuringly thick and its metal parts obviously well-made and accurate in size, so that when plugged in, they have no tendency to get loose or fall out. At the same time, the cable is not overly heavy or hard to deal with in any way. My old headphone cord had bent near the earpieces so that the wire was damaged and I had to hold it at exactly the right angle to get sound. No fear of that happening with this Velocity cable! All three of them are a pleasure: plug in and forget. The sound is good enough to please my exacting husband, with the result that I ordered another cable (6ft. this time) for him to use with his PC (the tower being located a bit away from his desk) to listen to music and BBC broadcasts. At the same time, I ordered the same cable in 3ft. to make it more comfortable for myself to listen to things at my computer. All in all, we are very pleased with the Velocity cables and will be looking for the same thing again in whatever length called for, if we should need another one.

But my mini computer I use to work on the website, has small speakers with awful fidelity. I have some independent speakers of medium quality I was planning to use. This extension cable is of wonderful quality and it makes my website sound like Carnegie Hall!!!!! For very little money, I got a top quality product and I am delighted! Thank you Cables To Go!
