Save your USB ports.
These cables (I bought two) are intended to save wear and tear on the ports of my computers. I use them daily and need to rely on this for my editing and video production. Repairs or replacement of computer USB ports are expensive and these all but eliminate that potential hazard. I will continue to use this method.

No. It cannot be used for that application. It is only to be used to connect USB devices to a USB host like a computer.

Can this be used for the HP Photosmart 6510 all in one Printer
No, it will not. You would need a regular USB A/B cable like 28101. The printer has a USB B port on the back of the printer close to the power port.

Can I use these as an extension for my iphone plug to the wall?
This cable would not work for you. These cables are male to male. You would need a male to female cable like part 52107 or 19018 to extend the existing iPhone charging cable.

Can you use this to connect a tablet to a computer to transfer data?
This cable will not allow you to transfer data between a computer and a tablet. We have a data transfer cable (#39987) but it is only compatible with Windows and Mac OS. It is not compatible with the Android OS.
