Great HDMI Wall Plate
I switched to these because over time the plastic wall plates would always get pushed in the wall by users that didn't realize it doesn't take much to plug in a cable.

What is the depth? As in how deep does the box behind the pass through need to be?
This is a 4in cable. The cable does flex. A standard wall box will work perfectly.

Does the flexible cable support 4k?
This will not support 4K,

Has this been redesigned? The original units had approx 3/16" of connector protruding from the face plate. They were not mechanically robust. The current photo shows the connector flush with the face plate. Please advise.
